The IT Forum Gold Coast (ITFGC) welcomes people who have an interest in ICT, who would like to be informed about industry activities or who are studying ICT.
The ITFGC provides an ideal opportunity for local businesses and agencies to network, promote their services, form alliances, socialise with colleagues and keep abreast of news and developments.
The IT Forum Gold Coast (ITFGC) Advocacy group works on behalf of the ITFGC to advocate ICT on the Gold Coast according to the ITFGC’s 5 year strategy.
KPI: Through advocacy efforts, the ITFGC will raise the awareness of the importance of ICT on the Gold Coast as well as ensure the needs of the local industry are heard, by actively representing the industry. Tangible/reportable leading KPIs are required for submission.
Specifically, the ITFGC will gain representation on a minimum of 2 Government/Local Government related work groups that ensure the voice of ICT on the Gold Coast is represented.
In May 1998 the ITFGC became an Incorporated Association. All members are entitled to vote on any motions and at the elections. A committee is elected each year at the AGM. All committee members are volunteers and there is a part-time Executive Officer.
