It is with delight to announce that I will be stepping down from Chair of the IT Forum Gold Coast committee after serving in that position for two years. One of the responsibilities of the outgoing Chair is to ensure there is a successor who will make the organisation better for the future. I am very excited to support Darren Chapman, who I have nominated for the position of Chair (and so far he is uncontested). Darren has also been working very diligently over the past few weeks to network with the current committee members as well as general members and I must admit, it has been refreshing to see a renewed energy in the air about the ITFGC.
If you want to find out more about Darren and the rest of the nominees, come to the meeting. Also, as there are still positions (seats) available on the committee, we will be taking nominations from the floor. Look forward to seeing you there! ~ Dr Dion Klein, Outgoing Chair
